Well, we are about to enter another phaze of our lives.......married children! Andy talked to Kenzie's father Sat. morning, to ask for her hand in marriage....and he agreed to let Andy take his only daughter to the temple! Alan and I went over to Cedar yesterday and met the Jensons at the SUU football game, to watch Kenzie dance and cheer. Andy was still earning a little money, helping a man move to another apartment, so he came late. We finally met up after getting Kenzie to show us where her parents were sitting. We hit it off right at first. They are great people. I feel overwhelmed with gratitude over how much they already care for Andy and what a wonderful family he is gaining.
We had a fun dinner together and just watching Andy and Kenzie together makes you happy. Both Alan and I attended SUU and met there. Kenzie's parents both went there and were married while students. Now our children can add Cedar City to their list of special places.
It looks like May will be the wedding time....it all depends on when they can schedule the Salt Lake temple. (I know that Garrett will be sad to miss this event, but he pretty much guessed that it would happen while he was gone.)
Now Andy just has to make it official, and drop to his knee and ask Kenzie for real!

Sounds like a tradition has been started at SUU! What is Kenzie's last name? Are her parents from Cedar or somewhere else?
